Apr 26 Outta Sight Flight: A three hour program designed to meet most of the requirements of the Girl Scout’s Junior Aerospace Activity Badge. Classes meet from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Fee is $15 per girl. Pre-registration is required.

May 3 F-14 Forum: The F-14 Tomcat Forum is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the history and operation of one of aviation's most recognized icons. Hear personal stories from pilots and radar intercept officers about flying training and operational missions around the world.  Hours of event are from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm.
May 10 Introduction to Aviation: An intensive, day-long study of aerodynamics, navigation, instrumentation and the basics of flight. This class is designed for ages 10-17 and meets all of the requirements for the Boy Scout Aviation Merit Badge. Classes meet 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. with a break for lunch. Fee is $35 for non-members ($25 for museum members.) Pre-registration is required.
May 19 Home school Mondays: Helicopters: Join us for this program designed specifically for home schools. The cost is museum admission plus $1.00 per student. Two sessions available: 9:30 -11 a.m. and 11:00-12:30 p.m.
May 24 Introduction to Weather: An intensive study of the weather and forecasting designed to meet the Boy Scout Weather Merit Badge requirements. Classes meet 9:30 am-12:30 pm. Fee is $15 per scout. Pre-registration is required.

Young Scouter Days: Between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1 p.m. Join us for young scout activities geared towards Cub Scouts and Brownies. Call ahead to make group reservations.

June 14 Air Fair: Celebrate a day of flight and more at the Virginia Aviation Museum. Check out an Emergency Management Mobile Command Post and a Department of Aviation Cessna and attend a rocket building workshop.
