Introduction to Aviation

This intensive study of aerodynamics, navigation, instrumentation and the
basics of flight is designed for ages 10–17. Introduction to Aviation
meets all the requirements for the Boy Scout aviation merit badge.
Outta Sight Flight
Dates and Times TBA
Meet women in aviation including one of history’s most famous female
aviators, Amelia Earhart. Design, build and test-fly paper airplanes, kites
and gliders. Tour the museum’s amazing aircraft collection and flight
memorabilia. This 3-hour program meets the requirements for the Junior Girl
Scout aerospace activity badge.
Li'l Flyers Storytime
Dates and Times TBA
Introduce your young children to wonders in the air. In this 60-minute activity,
kids age 3 to 6 listen to a story read by museum staff and then decorate
a paper airplane to fly and take home.
First Flight Celebration

Meet members of this inspirational group of men and hear exciting stories

aircraft displays, static aircraft displays and much more.
